Not badly done but I'd rather have put the 13k into the engine.
I agree. Looks like he did a pretty good job on it. If driving a replica is your bag, this would be the way to go. However, putting the ZO6 505 HP badge on a vehicle with half the HP, is a bit much.
Reminds me of those Pontiac Fieros that are wrapped in a fiberglass Ferrari body. All show and no go. Since GM didn't make a convertible ZO6 what's the point?
Why? Because its his money to spend. It does not look bad. looks like a lot of attention to detail. The HP badges I agree are just over the top. Id call it a C6 Mirage.

Looks pretty good to me too. Unfortunately you can buy a real
C5 for less. Probably made more sense 10 years ago.
It looks nicely done. If he wrecks it do they fix it with C5 parts or C4 parts? I know there is insurance for classic muscle cars, but I don't think he'll pay standard cost as if it was a regular 1987 model to insure it for what it's worth, would he?
I have USAA, and granted I have a C6 and not a C4 anymore, I pay $72 a month for full coverage.
Good execution for what it is, but the engine compartment and the front/rear overhangs cause the kit to completely miss the mark. And we don't even get to see the interior!
