found something that mentioned a radio relay last night. Unfortunately I forget where I saw that. Could have been here or another site, do a search and see what you find. I will be tackling this problem myself soon.

There was some discussion on this several months ago. Seems Chevy went out for bid on a new radio receiver supplier in 1990 and the lowest bidder that won supplied substandard receivers for 1990 and 1991. Chevy went back to the original supplier in 1992. So you can either have your receiver rebuilt (the part behind the glove box), or find one from a 92 and swap them out.

There's a groung kit that can be put on the surrounding area under the antenna. It help's. Not alot but it help's http://www.zr1.net/bulletins/339008.jpg
