Well i checked the CTS and it was fine but changed it anyway as it was old and cheap. Did not solve the code 33 so i guess the figures from winaldl raw data were correct.
Thinking after the first of next year ripping all the tbi out and installing a carb setup and msd distro.
I tried it, but I cant get it to work on 160 baud, and the 86 dont have 8192.
It does, as all 1227165 ECMs do.
The ECM starts up in 160 baud mode and the software and hardware need to send the "secret code" to get it into 8192 mode. Works just fine in 8192 mode on my Diacom setup.
Ok will try it again. This weekend I replaced the coolant temp sensor and IAC. started it this morning and SEL light came on.
Not much else left..lol..
Just tried to get it to work but would not sync. Looked at my connector and it is missing all but pin H on the bottom row. No pin M (8192), has all pins on the top row but Pin D. so I tried Pin E but it would not work at 8192.. Is there another pin to get the data off of ?

'86 only uses pins A, B, C, E, F and G. The data comes out of pin E.
You need to connect the 10K resistor to pin B and the software also has to send the correct handshake sequence to get the ECM into 8192 mode.
