a/c issues.
my 91 still has the original charge of r-12 in it. it needs about half a can put in it, would it be better to have it converted or buy an expensive can of r-12 off of ebay and put it in??????

How do you know it only needs a half can?
Get your license at www.epatest.com and buy all the R12 you want.
Check for compressor oil on the hood above the compressor. Have a shop stick an Electronic Leak Detector in the Center Vent. Shaft seal and Evaporators are known leak points.
