Default ugh

Soo ive been brought to a breaking point with the vette. Ive had it for 9.5 years and I cant really afford to keep it any longer. Ive been trying to fix some little issues that Ive been wanting to do. And stuff I feel will help with the sale value. But lately its been draining me. Its like one step forward 10 steps back. And everything giving me a hard time is turning into ridiculously expensive repairs. Ive replaced the short block and had my heads ported. A nos zf6. New clutch. New tires. Now the damn thing wont idle. I need a new ac compressor. All I want to do is sell it but I feel like ill lose my *** if some of the issues aren't sorted out. But I'm skinned at this point and really need to get something back out of it. But there is also the big part of me that still wants to try and keep it. But financially its just draining me.

Learn to do your own wrenching, park it when you cant afford to fix it until you can. Old cars are a hobby not transportation. If you were near I could help. GL

Pick 'n pull.

That's where I get a lot of parts for my DD's (not my 'Vette but would if I were in a financial pinch). I hit a cow with my truck ('96 Silverado) a few months ago. Smashed the whole front end in. I got hood, fenders, grill, lights, radiator, bumper, valance, brackets, radiator support, hardware, air dam, trim, fan, pulley, -the whole front of the truck in the right color, even! for <$500. Truck looks as good as ever.

Another time, I was building a V8 Jeep Wrangler. I got a fully loaded Chevy 350 engine, new flywheel and clutch, TOB, fork, slave, NV3500 Trans, NP231C tranfer case, shifters/hardware....$360.00. U pull it yards are where it is at.

Do some shopping, and good luck!
