Default ? on DBW

A servo motor is an entirely different story. The servo motor is actually an assembly of four things: a normal DC motor, a gear reduction unit, a position-sensing device (usually a potentiometer—a volume control ****), and a control circuit.
From a C5 is the throttle position sensor on a DBC throttle body the same as a DBW throttle body? if not is it possible to install the TPS from a DBW TB on a DBC TB.

On another one of my run away ideas I am am thinking of trying to use an asr motor with a dbw setup to control a cable throttle. And am looking for information on DBW.

Suspect you will get a better answer in the C5 depot given no C4 ever came with DBW

Well it looks like this forum will only do something if a kit is made for it....guess I will ask elsewhere IF I am willing to share the results of what I find either way.

Yes, I am considering using drive by wire only for adding cruise control.
I am also considering using a ms3 instead of the factory computer for the engine.

I went with a a cable for simplicity and used a Camaro ECM and harness.. are you familiar with this thread?

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-g...x-swaps-8.html

Ask in there and you will get a better answer. If you are going to keep the 700 or have a manual the MS3 sounds like a great idea. Have you seen this one yet?

The last major hold up I have for the swap is.
Deciding between buying computer tuning kit and wiring harness for the ls computer.
I don't have enough of a stock harness to modify one for this.
Or getting a ms3x and making a harness for that.

There are too many options. I'm not a tuner but I am good with wiring so I took the wiring harness and modified it for my needs. The tuning was done locally and it runs great.
What is your set up/plans so far and what have you bought?
