I recently picked up a package of led lights for the interior from corvette mods and want to know if there is an easy way to get the lights changed under the dash. If anyone has any idea i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
I bought the 10" strip LEDS at Autozone. Wired them right into the foot well light, used double sided tape to stick up. Three years later they still look great. Here is what I used http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=327401_0_0_
Probably the easiest way is to remove the kick panel and then change the bulbs. I don't know how the light is set up on the cars with the later interiors, but I found it very difficult to pry out the lens. If you pry on the wrong end it might break.
This is what mine look like (I made my own "bulbs" with discrete LEDs and fast setting epoxy to hold them all together):
I have replaced all my interior bulbs with LEDs. Most of them have come from Super Bright LEDs. I did make another custom LED array for my console lid. That's one thing I really missed on my old C5 and now the C6. I hate fishing around in the dark looking for the garage door remote.

Thanks Cliff. That was what I thought was needed but figured I'd ask to see if there was another way. It seemed like the housing may break if I pryed too hard. That's awesome you made yours. Im no where near that electrically inclined but I feel owning this baby I will become better whether I like it or not. Thanks for the response.
