Weird door alignment
The top half of the door is seemingly nicely flat with the rear 1/4 but the bottom lip of the door clearly pokes out (away from the rest of the body) by a good 1/4 of an inch. This causes the door ajar switch to constantly be on(the switch works when I manually press it in) and the carpet on the sill to get soaked when it rains
Not really sure how it could be miss aligned in this way.
The door is hard to close and there's some visible wear on the striker Bolt
Thoughts? I had considered pin replacements but given the top is fine I'm not sure this is really 'sagging'
Thanks

See the pic of hinges on ebay in the link.
First lower the window ...adjust that last, then you want to loosen the lower door hinge bolts to the door (not to the frame)
You may need to adjust the top hinge after that (there are six bolts per hinge 3 to door and 3 to car frame)

To adjust the side window so it tilts in enough but not too far, you need to adjust the small guide bracket (circled) up or down slightly.
This limits how far the window goes up and how far it tilts inward to the center of the car.
See pic below (is of the older window regulator but you still have this guide bracket in your 89)
The bolts will be the only thing you will see and you will see the slotted bolt holes for adjustment.
