What is this? 1990 vert
Just got the yellow deck release button working to release the deck to store the top. There are 4 wires running to the deck, black, black/white, tan and green. I think the black and black white work the deck release button. What do the other wires do? Waiting on my manual to arrive so I don't have a proper schematic. Does any one know what this little window gadget is?

I have not owned a C4 vert in a few years but vaguely remember that here is a light in there? Maybe? My mind IS slipping though.

I assume you are talking about the black plastic grille? Is it the inside air temperature sensor?
I have a 90 convertible...mine does not have that grille in the rear deck lid. I have the c68HVAC option. The inside air sensor is located in the dash vent on the passenger side on mine.
