A build sheet will not tell you how many cars like yours were built. A build sheet is used when the car is being assembled to let the workers know exactly how it is to be made - what engine choice, what colors, what accessories, etc.

Not always... my armrest lid was replaced and the sticker went with it. Nothing in the storage bin/lid area either. The only way for me to get these codes for my 1995 unit was to order the build sheet from the National Corvette Museum.
