Question regarding A/C system
The A/C in my 92 vert blows cool air, but not cold
While digging around to see if it's been upgraded to R134A (it has), I noticed that the hose leading into the evap core is loose:
I assume this could impact my cooling
Is this something that can be fixed, or do I need a new core with attached hose? Can I just reseal the junction between the hose and the core?

Do you feel air blowing out of the box with the blower on? If not, I wouldn't think that it has a significant impact on cooling. You may just be low on freon. Have you checked your system pressures? Also, does you compressor cycle frequently which could be an indication of low pressure?

No air was coming out of that gap, so I guess that's not an issue
The freon looked a little low, so I emptied a 20oz can into it, and it seems to be cooler...I'll check the next time I'm out in the heat
