Paint Job??
Since im restoring my vette, i need to get a paint job. I am thinking of putting racing stripes on my black vette. I am not sure if i want it Black with white stripes, silver stripes, red stripes or yellow stripes. if i do yellow or red i will color code it with the calipers and interior. im leaning more towards yellow. What do you guys think? Have any of you seen things like this? Thanks for the help!

Have a friend with a 94, black with a silver GS stripe, looks really good. White would look to "skunky" I think, as that is what they already call this guys car. Yellow I have seen too but looks a little like a bumblebee :).

mickey i noticed the little slogan "wrap your azz in fiberglass" isnt there a shirt that says that? my freind told me he saw it once and really wanted to prchase it. do you happen to know what im talking about?

I was at a cruise on Friday night and a guy there had a black Viper with silver stripes, and that car looked outstanding! :yesnod: The black and the silver just seemed to go together very well; it was very classy looking.
White stripes = looks like a skunk
Yellow stripes = looks like a bumblebee
Red stripes would not be that bad if you really are not partial to the silver. But man, that silver looked great!
Are you thinking of doing a GS type stripe or more of the Ralley type stripes? The stripes on the Viper were the Ralley type, but were more narrow. :cool:

from what i know that saying isn't on a tshirt
here in british columbia its used on license plate frames by a local corvette "STEALership" (yes they are crooks).
as for the stripe...... the yellow would look terrible.... SILVER!
