has anyone been able to change bulbs like the owners manual says you can? who has an arm that fits there? i had to drop muffler, cut section out of that brace where rectangular hole is, and then cut a piece out off the cutout for the original mufflers. took me over an hour for 2 cotton picking bulbs and i still have to do other side!
Just changed my 87 to all 4 LED's lights. Did it through the licence plate hole to get he inboard lights and through the inboard lights to get to the other. stretched fingers reaching the 10mm bolts, scraped knuckles and forearms but it can be done.
yeah, the book left that out. what kind of LEDS did you use anyway? willing to change bulb but having to deal with a resistor in that limited amount of space?
I did 2 at a time which cost me more but I replaced my outboard lights first because I had amber turn signal lights from when I had the Vette in England, then changed those lights to LED's.
