Help!! Alarm going off
I just purchased a 1990 ZR1. I left the key on and the battery is dead. Put my jump box on it and the alarm goes off and I can't start it. I haven't had a C4 before and any help on how to start would be appreciated! Thanks Brandon

If it matters I locked the door with the switch on the inside. The car did not come with a key fob. Thanks! Brandon

Try putting the key in the door and lock and then unlock the car door.
If that doesn't work, disconnect the battery. Always NEG first. Once the negative is disconnected you don't have to disconnect the positive.
I would suggest that you disconnect the negative cable to the battery and charge the battery. you might be able to start the car with a jump box but have problems. The battery may be too low to effectively run the car. You can get all kinds of odd things happen without 12 volts.

Hi Brandon my 90 Z does wierd things while you are charging the battery after it is completely dead and the alarm going off is one of them I think I solved that by unlocking the door with the key but don't remember for sure
