I had a productive week end, all new brakes,hoses,1 calliper and new shocks. The old and i mean old shocks were Gabriel couldnt see that name until i had them off. The old shocks worked but the rubber bushings were shot. The tops in the front were just sloppy loose. I didnt like the new rubber bushings though. They just didnt fill the top mount completely. They seemed a little small, but what a change in the ride and cornering. I also drained the old brake fluid while i was at it. Ill pull the front wheels in a week or so to double check the bushings are seated correctly. Dave
I want to do the shocks too. I have the originals on mine, and with 38k miles, but I am sure the ride should improve. I am going to take a couple off to test them.

38k miles?? It aint broke in yet! But im sure the rubber grommets are shot. My shocks had way more than that.
I replaced the original shocks on my '86 Coupe at 73k miles. They were completely shot. I put on KYB shocks and it rode like it was new. The job was easy to do. I would recommend the KYBs.
