Black Sheep Squadron Website
To all those who have been wondering what the He|| happened to the Black Sheep Squadron website, it is now, at least partially, back online.

There were 2 weeks of downtime, and feverish DNS Zone troubleshooting that took place.
So, if you've been trying to signup with the Black Sheep Squadron, you are now able to do that.

Actually I think Jim just got back from vacation. Thas probably had somethin to do with it. He told me he was gone for most of June.

Actually, the problems occured from me switching the site over to a new server that has more functionality, and MUCH fatter pipes. Somehow http://www.blackcorvettes.com had been registered in DNS as a DNS server, so changing it to a new IP was not possible until the entry was tracked down within the zone file.
As far as the questions you guys have, I am working on all of that stuff right now. (which was one of the reasons to a new server that had GD libraries compiled into it) So it will be coming, but it is summer, and I won't be sitting in front of a computer monitor 24/7 until the rain starts to fall again.

I did like you said and you can see all I got was the dreaded "red x" again..Jim's been trying to help me also but no luck..I'm beginning to get annoyed but I'll keep trying...
p.s. tryed it again..red x again..I tested it under "Anguish test"..I'm out of ideas at this point.. :confused:

If I right click on that little red x and look at the properties of what you have typed in, this is what I get (surrounded with {} so it doesn't make another red x)
{http://forums.corvetteforum.com/http//www.blackcorvettes.com/bss_logo.jpg}
This is what should be in your signature: (again, used {} instead of [] so as to not actually show the picture, but the "code" for the picture)
{img}http://www.blackcorvettes.com/images/bss_logo.jpg{/img}
So, just replace the {} with [] and you'll be set.
