Default Oem?

I owned a 93 about 10 years ago and loved it. I finally found a 95 and purchased it. It needs alot of cosmetic love where it sat out in the sun constantly. This one has the decals on the side- are these factory? If so any idea where to get new ones?
Thanks

That C6 Racing emblem didn't exist back in 1995.

A heat gun or a hair blow-dryer will aid in the removal of the decal. I don't know that I'd recommend attempting the removal with a buffer. Some of those decals are tough.

If you know an automotive painter or body man they would likely have one of these that could help also but a good hot hair blow-dryer should do well:

If you wanted to buy it's a 3M 07501 adhesive removal tool but you need a "roloc" disc holder to use it, that's a 07500 and can be used for the "roloc" gasket and abrasive removal discs also. Might be a good buy or you might already have if you do your own services and maintenance.

I have used dental floss to "saw" away the double sided tape under an emblem like that.

There's no "double sided" on that emblem - it's stuck directly to the paint!

Hair dryer/heat gun - plastic razor blade or "finger nails" might be the best but the disc creates enough heat to also work with no damage to paint.

Depending on how long it's been there it's possible that there will be a "tattoo" of sorts after removal.

If it's been outside long enough to need new paint, scrape that abortion off anyway you can!
