I have a guy offering me a trade. He has a 88 Z52 coupe Blue with 36k on the clock. looks to be in good condition and he says everything works great. So how much is it worth? thank you for any help.
If the paint and interior are in really good to excellent condition, he has service record documentation, and it has a manual transmission, it could be worth anywhere from $7000.00 to $10,000.00 from serious buyers. With an automatic transmission (very common) figure about $$6500.00 to $7500.00 with a little wiggle room. You'll probably get some quotes here saying it's not worth more than $3500.00 to $5000.00. Don't rely to much on those quotes as some don't realize the difference in conditions of the older C4's. There are so many cheap beaters at $3000.00 or less out there right now that many just use the low value of those to quote the value of the nice ones. The nice low mileage older C4's are finally gaining in value and seem to be hard to find right now.
The guy is trying to tell me it is 1 of 1 because it has the rare radio delete option and the color and other ordered options it has. Not sure that's worth anything to me. Is it to anyone else? To me it doesnt seem that and 88 is a desired collector car. Please tell me if im wrong.

The 1 of 1 is nonsense and not worth anything to anyone. As for the collectors car, it doesn't belong in a museum, but it could be a fun car, and if you find the right buyer you could get 8-10 for it, if it is really in the shape you think it is.

with markKlein. There is nothing rare or collectible about it. It is a 1988 Corvette - heck the radio delete may make it worth less. As for color, it has been brought up before - there are no rare and valuable colors. There may be rare colors but they ain't valuable. Condition and maintenance is the key to value.

Either color blue is beautiful and will attract more lookers than repel them. I guess you could think attraction = quicker sale = more money. Aaa, probably not. Good rule of thumb....do you want to trade = I can't sell this turd.
