Is this filter genuine AC Delco?
Bought this transmission filter: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321167101199...#ht_1259wt_930 and this is what arrived.
All the AC Delco parts I've bought before come in the blue and white packaging with the AC Delco logos all over them. Is this genuine or a knockoff. It was sold by a Chevy dealer and I guess if it was a knockoff the package would also have the AC Delco name all over it. The filter does say Filtran and made in the USA but that could be copied too. ..

I can't tell from that picture. Next time if you would like AC Delco parts buy from the dealer. Rockauto.com also sells AC Delco parts. I just bought a complete set of cooling and heating hoses from them and all of them had the AC Delco Professional stickers on them.
Summit Racing also sells good parts, the filter/gasket kit for my 4L60E came from Summit, and all is working great.

I assume from the description on the site that the part is ACDelco Professional which I assume is a shop branded under the Delco name that lacks the retail quality package. A shop would rather pay for a generic wrapped Delco part than pay a few bucks more for the fancy red and blue box that they would throw in the trash anyway.

I opened the fleabay link, and the filter came from seller Suburban Chevrolet. based on that, I would guess the OP's part is the real McCoy. the pic in my post came from Schoner Chevrolet in Hartville Ohio as an over the counter purchase - I don't really understand the difference in packaging. I've really never heard of "professional packaging" as listed in the fleabay ad, but maybe I've learned something new here...

I don't think ACDelco makes any parts..... may be mistaken.
Bought a tstat packaged in an ACDelco box made by Stant.
May just be a marketing company now.

I recently bought an AC Delco air filter. It has the orange rubber around the edges which make it look suspiciously like a Fram.
For what it's worth, Dana Wilkes of Pro-Built Transmissions recommends the Filtran filters.
