Default seperating the drive train and body

So after seeing the picture that Tom400CFI sent me of the drive train I have decided to take the parts car I bought and do the same. So does the body just unbolt like a unibody or do the frame fails go with the body. It is a '95 C4 that hit a brick wall while doing a brodie. Gotta love 18 year old's. Only the left rear is hurt.

Thanks

A unibody car has no frame, the front and rear suspension bolt to the body. all corvettes have a frame that bolts to the body. web search c4 corvette frame and check the images ( left rear hurt) ??? Body or suspension

Uni body like my ole nova. Didn't know if the frame rails went front to rear. Looked like the from was steel and the rear was aluminium. Will search for pic's, thanks. Body mostly, took out the tub , tail section and rear glass. The block wall didn't break... The left rear tire took a hit on the curb and knoked it out of alignment. Not sure if anything is broke on the suspension yet. Will know more this weekend.

The drive line can all come out as one assembly.

That's an '84 but the same thing. It is pretty cool how they designed it. Tom400CFI sent me a pic of the same thing on another tread I had. Looks like the dog bones on the rear come off and maybe a body mount at the rear and then a couple up front and it seperates. Also of course brakelines and wire's and the usual stuff. Pretty cool though

Yes, the front half with the engine and suspension come off with the K member.
