Default Headlight troubles

Ok I feel kind of stupid for having to ask about this/tell everyone what happened. I changed the gear and pellets in the headlight motor and when I put everything back together, I turned the headlights on and nothing, turned them off and the headlight rotated up, turned them on headlight rotated down and came on. My headlights are 180 degrees out of sync. If while I had it out and was rotating it, did I just rotate it out 180 and need to take it back out rotate the motor 180 degrees? BTW how 'bout them Sooners...Sorry Notre Dame fans.

Samething happened here. Rotate the motor 180 degrees. This should solve your problem.

Remove the roll pin at the motor drive output shaft.

Using the manual motor ****, keep turning the **** until
the headlight motor drive shaft has rotated 180 degrees.
(Takes alot of turning of the ****).

Then reinstall the roll pin.

When you rotate the **** counter clock wise the headlight bucket should open.

Turning in the clock wise direction the headlight bucket should close.

If it operates like that the linkage is correct and some how the polarity of the voltage to the motor is reversed from what it should be.

If you actually seperated the motor housings then as mentioned
above remove the two bolts that hold the motor housings
together and rotate one of the halfs 180 degrees.

Below is a thread where the person did the same thing.

That earlier thread was great. This is why I love this forum. It's a great source of information.
