Default Data plate

Hi, I have a quick question. Has anyone ever seen this data plate and knows where it came from? [URL=http://s1329.photobucket.com/user/snorider1/media/IMAG0360_zpsae315735.jpg.html][/URL

It is in the 1984 vette my mother just purchased. I don't think it is stock though.

Thanks,
Joe

Your correct, it is not a factory piece.
The C3 was the last Vette having anything like that from the factory.

I have seen aftermarket spec plates for the C4 engines, but never one like the one you show.

Thanks, that is what I figured.

Now I wonder if this engine actually makes these numbers of if someone just added the plate for looks.

Is the engine modified? The '84 did have 350 cubic inches, but that's the only thing on the plate that's correct for an '84 stock motor.

The L83 made something like 205HP and 290 ft-lbs of torque. Compression was 9.0:1

My guess is its a 1970 L-46 350/350 hydraulic lifter last year I think of 11:1 compression ratio
