Remove the black plastic panel under the passenger side of the dash. Get a ratchet, extension and a 10 mm socket and take out 2 bolts. Pull the ecm down and out. There is a wasp nest of wires in the way of the ecm but you can work it out around them.

The ECM is very easy to pull out once you remove those two bolts holding it in. It just "unplugs" from the wiring harness leading to it.
