Shocks - Plugs - Cluster Lights
Hello All,
As a new corvette owner I am very excited, also excited to see so many c4 owners!! I recently purchased a 1988 C4, and it needs a little work, and I am OK with easy mechanical stuff.
I was wondering what the best shocks are for the front and rear as mine are pretty much blown. I will be greasing the joints this weekend and would like to do a little TLC to the suspension.
While doing that I would like to know what you're using for spark plugs as well. There are so many options and I'd rather go to the expert here than trust the hype. Cap and rotor replacement would be cool too.
And lastly I removed all the blown 882 bulbs from the cluster and was wondering if there was a direct placement bulb other than the 882 w/o having rebuild with xenon. Just plug and see.

I used
front ac delco 53016 front
ac delco 53017 rear but the price was only 14 each I guess they went up at rockauto.com
Kyb only a bit more but I like the ac delco.
spark plugs just used the simple ACDELCO R43TS
Everthing is perfect right now but I don't remember about dash bulbs and my cap and rotor were clean so I left it alone.

Just suggestion, when replacing your spark plugs, get piece of rubber hose to hold your spark plug when installing new plugs. That will make the job easy. I used A/C Delco plugs.
