any of these the original radio for a 84 vette?

Default any of these the original radio for a 84 vette?

just as the title says...as i was removing the radio because it didn't work i noticed a homemade bracket and spliced wires. i want to know if either of these are the original radio and what else am i missing..like are either of those radio housing for this car? pics attached

The one on the right yes, the Alpine on the left no!

The Delco in the picture is out of a later model GM car, probably a late 80's, early 90's. The original for your car should have a one piece cassette door, not a two piece design as in the picture.

You'll have to look carefully. This is a stock 84 Bose radio.

Neither is a corvette radio

You do not say if your car has a Bose system, but the radio you show is not a 1984. Is there a mfg. date on your radio?

it does have one cassette door and it looks exactly the same as in 383vette pic. does the back connectors fit the hardness? i am asking because someone hooked up that alpine radio and cut through the radio hardness leaving no connector pieces. here is a pic of the model # too

Your radio is from a Lumina
The radio in 383's has buttons for the cassette. Yours does not.
is a 1984 Bose.

The plugs from the original harness won't fit that radio. Not sure if you can splice in if you have plugs to fit the radio
