I could use some help. I have a 1994 Corvette coupe with 117k miles. It is a 6 speed manual. It has a new battery with 700 cranking amps.
It will turn over but won't fully crank, except for a few days last week when it actually cranked fine like nothing was wrong. Now this week it is doing to same thing.
On occasion, it will get the engine going but die out. The engine runs fine when cranked so I figure it is with the starter or maybe the battery cables. Another possibility I thought about would be the fuel sensors. I am not a mechanic so I don't really know what is going on..

If you know the battery is good start by removing , cleaning and tightening the connections on the main battery cables ; both ends
If that doesn't solve your problem you need to investigate starter operations
