Default Back window replacement

I have a 89 vert with a plastic window in the top. I would like to know if I can replace this with a glass window in my current top. If so what is the best way to do this. Thanks for any help.

I had 89 also, and I replaced it with the glass window. You have to buy conversion kit, cause it fold different from the plastic. I also bought new hood liner, to go with the top.
I would recommend you go to different shops and ask them if they have done the conversion cause if they do it wrong you will crack the window.
Now everything has draw back, here is what you loose. When your top is down now look and see all the room you have, when the conversion is done the top almost touches the back carpet, and you loose storage room when the top is down, cause it folds different. You get rear defroster, that might be plus.
Your decision, if I had to it over, I would go with plastic window.

Another recommendation to follow. First start and ask your local Chevy dealership who does there tops, cause they don't do it at the dealership. Then go to them, ask if they can replace just the plastic, cause lot of places will say they have to replace the complete assembly. Shop around, they all have different prices.
