I like them....but I'm a little biased on my opinion since I've had one for the past 12yrs. I will say from a C4 standpoint it is rather different. Mines an auto with 39k miles on it. Just threw on new tires since they were 12 yrs old. Also added a Borla cat back since my Y pipe started rusting. The exhaust does make the car breath better...I can actually feel the difference.
Both true statements... The owner lives in San diego... His GF lives in Bryan TX.. He was restoring it for her and she decided she wanted something else... I spoke with him personally. He is driving the car to TX in the next couple of months... told him to meet me in Dallas and if the car was in as good a shape as he claims that I would buy it and take him to the DFW airport.... He has my number... We'll see... He sent some detailed pics... It's a 20 footer for sure but, has potential. I don't really care for C4's... other than ZR1, Grand Sports... ( I have owned a 93 and a 96) although Very nice cars, this one just seems a little different... and I can work on the L98.... Some of the LT1's were plagued with issues... Not knocking C4's at all for the record.
My GF would love driving this car AND would be plenty of power for her.
I got mine last November for 8900. Do a thorough pre purchase. Mine had nothing but problems after a few months. Had to replace the starter, ignition control module, starter assembly, fuel pump, get a tune. Then the heads went overheated. Had to rebuild the heads. All that on top of the fact I still need a new digi dash, sound system, and weather stripping.
