Help please!! Advice????

Before you buy it, ensure it has manifolds, and catalytic converters. Long tube headers with or without cats are not legal in CA.
$7,500 would be an appropriate offer for a 92 coupe automatic. That listing said the value is $15,000....yeah right
I paid $18,500 for my 92 Vert in 1997 fully loaded.

That line in the Craigslist ad would scare me away.

In all seriousness, if you're looking for a nice automatic C4, this looks to be a pretty good deal. I agree with the $7500 offer as well.

My son liked the car so I told the seller the car was way overpriced at $9,995 and offered him $7,500 cash. He never said a word, just sat there looking at me. While this was going on, my son was inside the car checking that everything worked. He pushed in the hazard flasher button and the flasher turned on but it wouldn't turn off. We tried everything to pull the button back out, I finally pulled the fuse so his battery wouldn't die. My son and I left after that.
The owner called my son a couple of weeks later and said he would take $8,500, but my son had already purchased a very clean 94 with 60,000 miles with 2 tops for $8,900, my son posted some pics in the intro section, his forum name is slapusilly10x...take a look.
I think $7,500 - $8,000 for the car the op is asking about would be a good deal. My son and I looked at and drove a lot of cars in his quest to join the corvette family but almost gave up after seeing what's out there for the money. Good luck.

A couple of side notes my dad did not mention:
-- the driver power seat does not go backwards.
--There is an aftermarket stereo head unit installed, it appeared to work properly.
Lol. I kid of course. Unfortunately when I was in the market, my car was the only one in the state of Missouri (as far as Craigslist goes) that had a 6 speed w/ the LT1 that was in my price range. I was not going to drive an automatic or an L98. No hate on the L98... but I was replacing my '96 Mustang GT so I was dying for more power. That thing was gutless.
