Calloway decal??

Default Calloway decal??
Hi everybody! New member would like to ask if any one can tell something about Calloway decal. My -87 convertible has riveted oval shaped decal whit stampings Calloway GM 164. Decal is located under the hood, left side of the Corvette Bowling Green Kentucky decal. Is it a dealer installed decal or what?

Does it read "Calloway" or "Callaway"
Big difference.

Does your engine look like this?

No, it dosent have twin turbos.. And yes, it really reads "Calloway". I will post a picture of it when i got time. Thanks!

If that is the case, then it sounds like some "cheesy" aftermarket sticker someone stuck on.
