Hi guys, ive been here for a couple months and really enjoy thee community. i never properly introduced myself so i figured i would.
I'm a younger guy just about 21, im a cnc machinist by trade. currently en route to an engineering degree. ive been a car guy aslong as i can remember. we have an old '67 charger and '71 mustang and a couple '69 rangers. i grew up with it part of the culture. we run a little machine shop next to our house when im not at work, and i finally decided it was time to get my own set of weekend wheels. was originally going for an 87 I-Roc as i never thought id have the time to bring a corvette to my liking. but it just so happened i hit that special deal (was only 3 minutes away too) and ive been hooked ever since currently in the process of brining my 85' back to her former glory (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-g...f-my-85-a.html if interested) ive gotten alot of help and information and parts as well from you guys and i appreciate it, Thank you!

Welcome, and WOW!!! You do have your work cut out for you. Keep us posted on the progress. Also, keep an eye on the Parts for Sale section. You might run across a good deal on hard to find or expensive parts (i.e. top).
