I've put long tube headers and a full corsa exhaust on my 94. I've got another set of heads and intake i want to port and polish but this won't happen till next summer along with the rear gear change. My 68 camaro build is eating all my funds right now. What kind of benefits , if any, can i see from doing a tune right now? Should i wait ? Opinions .....Thanks

Wait. Tuning, especially dyno tuning is very expensive.
The only one i was looking at was pcmforless . Any benefits? Like i said funds are shy , my camaro is eating me up. The only things in my budget for the vette right now are coil overs ,and rear suspension components. If the pcmforless will give me a noticeable difference I'll do it. Again thanks.
You haven't made a big enough change to require tuning yet. When, and if you do, make sure to datalog and send it to the tuner for them to observe, and possibly make changes.

With a tune and fresh tires my best was 13.89 @ 99.7
Now that's with an original 25 year old motor.
So yes, tunes work very well if executed properly.
Factory tunes are not perfect and can be improved on.
Understandable. I just think wasting money on a mail order tune from a company when all you have is exhaust done is pointless when you plan on adding more serious modifications in the near future. Might as well do it right the first time and get your car on a dyno! Just my .02

If a dyno was within easy reach of home.
My WOT 0-100 runs have proven to work well for Alvin @ PCM4less.
I also did a couple of steady state 55-65-75 runs to work with gas mileage when cruising.
Yep I lost a few MPG's. But that's not why I have a Vette.
