Need some input guys........
I finally talked the wife into letting me get another C4! Wohoo!! LOL
But now that I have the go ahead I wonder if I should wait ( I know I know, reverse psychology??) LMAO
Here's some details,It's a 96 CE LT1 (I have a LT4) with about 61k miles on it. The car is in pretty good shape, Paint still has a nice shiny clear coat and only one 1/4 X 1/4 chip on fender on drivers side. motor runs strong, no codes, ac blows cold, new michellin pilots all around, some of the bad now, rear leaf spring splintered needs replacing, seats show too much wear for me and would have redone. The Bose only has cassette play
Says he'll take 9k for it. I looked seat covers are 1200.00 + labor
and a leaf spring 395.00 which I figure me and a friend can change out.
So....would you guys jump on it? or would I not like the LT1 and just wait for another LT4

Suggestions & advice are usually pretty cheap....... and you
usually get what you pay for.....
!. Why do you need another vette of the same vintage? Moving to
a C5 or C6 might make more sense.
2. Paying the asking price when the vette needs $2K in repairs? .....maybe offer $2K less.
3. My '92 doesn't have a tape player, but plugging in my Ipod provides me with my complete Itunes library.... about 2000 tunes
(which is seldom used).
Looking at prospective vettes is fun...... don't rush.... enjoy the ride.

Having 2 cars that are the same is like having 2 girl friends that are exactly the same..With all the choices out there why would you want that?? They will handle the same , ride the same, and basically look the same. I would get something different unless one was a full blown race car and one was a street car......But that's just me..

unfortunately she usually is right, i also am lucky enough to own a C6. i was just thinking make it a hot rod (cam, headers etc.) and i really do like the ride and look of OUR C4's and just wanted to own a couple of them.
