Default Option list

How do you read the option list codes on the build sticker that's on the hatch cover behind the seat? The only thing I understand is l98.

The RPO tag on the hatch...different than a build sheet... shows all of the "Regular Production Options" on the car. These include actual options, but many are standard items.

They're mostly 3 digit codes and all translate. Most of them changed very little over the years. Some RPOs from the 60s are still used today and the sorting of them is fairly standardized.....ones beginning with F are mostly suspension, L for engines, etc.

If you google 19xx Corvette RPO decode into google, you'll come with with a bunch of lists. I'm sure someone will chime in with a copy and pasted list, as per usual.

The list above has just about every RPO out there, but if you want to trim the list down to actual options and not all the extraneous ones, Roger's Corvette has a good list of the actual options.....just change the digits in the web address to whatever year your car is....

Production numbers, option costs, etc, are very well published for our cars.
