Remember that the U.S. uses "model year" for the registration of its cars, other countries (Australia included) uses absolute manufacture year, you will find '84 model C4's in Australia registered as 1983 Corvettes (because that is the manufacture year of the vehicle) and Im sure this applies to other countries ?
So I could export a few 84s and bring them back as 83s. I could make a fortune.
