There is no way for us to answer that question, what I like, somebody else won't. We also don't know what kind of power, what kind of driving, etc etc etc. There is just so much info we don't know.

I like spec stage 3+ clutches, but you might not.

Good luck with you build!

A dual friction type clutch would do just that not a big fan of the puck type clutches.
Centerforce
McCleod has some real nice ones out now
Sure there are others.

then you get to hear arguements about light/heavy flywheels too. Nothings easy around here

Spec sells whole clutch kits (pressure player, flywheel in three different weights, throwout bearing, clutch plate, and pilot bearing) for HP ratings from 400 up to some high number that escapes me. I used a "Stage 2" with the medium weight steel flywheel on my 383 build. The single mass flywheel causes some "rocks in a can" sound when hot at idle due to my overly lumpy cam. That being said if I were building it again I'd put in the lightweight aluminum flywheel.

Sway away from the McCleod's, amazing clutches, but from my personal experience the rear end can't handle the twin disc.

use one myself. personally I'd never build a performance driveline with anything but a metallic clutch disc.

I'm putting down about the same power and torque and used the Spec Stage 2. Love it! The clutch is relatively light, engagement is progressive and positive. I got mine from Enjuku Racing, who provided outstanding customer service and extremely fast shipping.
