Default Soda blasting question

I've just about got my engine taken apart for the intake manifold gasket leak. I am wondering if I can soda blast things like the water pump or air canister without having to rebuild them? I'd like to clean everything while it's apart but don't want to damage anything

Soda blasting is pretty much harmless washes rinses away with water (meaning soluble) just dont blow any seals out.

You could probably clean these up using carb or brake cleaner then simple green.
