Used to have an '84 Firebird that I couldn't get to run- had the snowflake wheels on it. If I still had 'em I'd give 'em to you for price of shipping.
That's a nice gesture! I have found that those wheels weren't offered in 18 or 19". That's my dilemma, buy new or used "Yearone" wheels; new costs too much and used I haven't found yet.
Here is a pic of the gold snowflake-style wheel on a Lingenfelter "new" Trans Am. I took this at their Novi, MI showroom in 2011:
There were as many as three different wheel styles used on the Trans Am that were considered "Snow-flake" and that's NOT one of them.
The Year One that the OP mentions is similar to the Trans Am wheel option that was considered a "Snow-flake" used on the Trans Am but is offered in 18" - 19" wheel diameters and rather wide rim options. I've never seen or priced them but I'm familiar with the product.
But that wheel and it's "back-spacing" results in a tire/wheel that would be 2+ inches further "outboard" than a late C4 9.5 at production offset. The 18/19 the OP refers to are a different product!
