My 1986 Corvette was originally delivered to Genderson Chevrolet in Annapolis, MD. I have spoken with the original owner and the sales person who sold the car (who is unfortunately at the point where his memory is quite spotty). Does anyone have any details/stories/pictures of this dealership?

Reviving this thread. I received my paperwork from NCM this week and that confirms what I knew already- the car was shipped to Jessup and then on to Annapolis. Anyone here from that area that remembers Genderson?

Genderson Chevrolet was located on the hill of Old Mill bottom road in Annapolis.I worked there in the late 80’s as a car porter.They sold Chevrolet and BMW ,they sold out to Tate and when GM/Chevrolet downsized the dealership went to selling BMW and Mini coopers.
it was a big seller of corvettes back in the day

Thanks so much for that! Did you know Bill Seymour, the salesman who sold my ‘86 new? I talked to him on the phone once. Tracked him down with the help of the original owner. Sadly, Mr. Seymour passed on in 2016.

Glad you were able to find that info on your car. I have no clue where my car was sold new or where its been. Even better that you were able to speak with the original owner and original salesperson!! Would be cool to see pictures of that dealership in the 80's when it was selling Corvettes!!
