Overheating headers
I have a 96 with an Lt4, I recently installed Pacesetter headers. Since I have installed these they overheat immediately after starting the motor. Has anyone had experience or suggestions to what may be wrong. Within 18 secs it was over 300*, 30 secs was over 500*, and in less than a minute it was at 600*. Finally cut engine off at 1:25 secs at a temp of right around 675*- this was all at idle and only on the passenger side. Can anyone help please.

Wot exhaust gas temperatures run around 1200-1500. You are not going to damage anything at 600 degrees. My headers glow red at 2500 rpm with no load. That is a lot hotter than 600 degrees. What you are seeing is probably normal.
