Default torque converter recommendation

From those with experience what torque converter would you recommend with for a daily driver with this set up for a 93lt1:
1. Factory ported and polished heads
2. 383 stroker
3. hot cam
4. 1.6 rockers
5. auto tranny with shift kit
6. 3.07 rear
7. long tubes and free flow exhaust
8. 28lb injectors
9. Performance tune
Again this is a daily driver and will see very little track time

Anything in the 2300-2800 range should work fine for you. Think about a Vigilante TC, its more expensive than most but they'll change the stall speed once for free if you don't like it.

First recommendation is to get a quality, small dia. converter. I like my yank converter. But there are other quality converters. Keep the dia. small and it will have a lot better manners then a 12' with a high stall.
That being said, I used to have ported heads, headers, and the hotcam on a stock block. I had a 3000 yank. 10in. I liked it. Behaved very well, under light throttle you never even knew it was not stock. I was running 3.73 gears. My experience tells me while the above recommendations are better then stock, I would go more around 3000. Good luck and again, make sure to keep the dia. in the 9-10 in range.
