Hitch Install (HELP!)
Has anyone personally installed a hitch on there 91-96 Vette. It is a Reese purchased from Ecklers. My question is how do you get the front bolts in the frame? The instructions say there is access into the frame where the straps are that hold the gas tank are. On my car there is no such access. What about yours?

For a small trailer. This will be a temporary thing, maybe 6 months. When I saw it the salesperson said "bolt on" "no modification". Well you have to drill 4 holes, so I think that would be considered "modification".

I installed one last year on my 94. there were no holes for the front, you have to drill them out with a long 10" drill bit from home depot or hardware store. I called Reese about mine and they said they were redoing the instructions but who knows. Mine went in without any problems once I understood I had to drill them out. good luck, I like mine for the same use, small trailor for traveling to events.
