Default Wheel Sticker Question

Guys, hope you can help. So the 9.5" wheels on my '87 have these goofy stickers on em. I'm sure they're '80s garbage, but just in case, I thought I'd check with you before I remove them. Wanted to make sure they weren't part of some factory appearance package. The car has been in the family since new so I know it came from the dealer with these, but I'm guessing they're just dealer add on crap.
Thanks for your help.

They are probably a home made dealer sticker or somebody found them in a catalog. Certainly nothing that came from Bowling Green.

If they are a vinyl sticker, they should come off with a heat gun and then you can clean any adhesive off with something like Goo-Gone or even WD-40.

Before you remove them, take a few pics of the car.
I'm just curious how that looks using todays cameras.

Here's a pic shortly after I received the car. Sorry I can't take a more current one, but I've already removed the wheels and plan to replace them with some ZR1 styles. I was going to keep the 9.5"s to use for track tires. BTW, yes I already removed those stupid decals down the side of the car. Sorry the pics are so big, I'm not sure how to reduce the sizing. Thanks again for your help.

I've seen those stickers on the early Corvette wheels in the past. I doubt they were an option package or a dealer ad on but they are vintage none the less.

Sorta like an AMC Gremlin; vintage doesn't also mean cool, LOL. As I said, the car came with the decals new from the dealer, so I guess they were a cheesy dealer add on. Unless someone else knows anything about them, off they'll come. I'll try the heat gun suggestion. Thank you for your help.

Chances are they are just vinyl. Warm them up gently, get under the edge and peel off.

Goof Off will remove any residual adhesive.

If they've been there since new I'm going to guess you might actually have an appearance issue with the wheels. They're somewhat conversational and they're going to be "standing in the corner" so I doubt they would hurt anything.
