I believe that you'll find the bolt pattern to be the same, but the offsets will be different.

The only similarity is the bolt circle SO technically they could be said "to fit" BUT not correctly. There could be multiple issues, primarily with any C5 wheel you would have issues with "inboard" clearance. If you were interested in using them for "just a roller"- it could be said "maybe" but unlikely!

The offset will differ. the 88 rims will sit inboard about 1 inch. Other than that yes they will fit. You can use spacers to bring the rims back out.

The bolt circle is the same 4.75" dia.

The offset is different. The C5 will sit inboard by the amounts shown below.

I put them on a '94 and they fit without spacers although the rears were visually inboard. The '84 to '87 cars suspension is different and used different offsets than the later '88 to '96 cars. So although they fit the late C4's without spacers, they may not fit the early cars.

84-87 base
16" x 8.5"- 32mm

84R-87 Z51
16" x 9.5"- 38mm

C5 base
17" x 8.5" - 56mm
18" x 9.5" - 65mm

88-96 base
17" x 8.5"- 56mm
17" x 9.5"- 56mm
(also used for fronts on some models)
