Another Exhaust Question
I have searched the forums and found numerous threads on cat back systems. I really don't want to spend $1200 buck but I will for the right exhaust. Many people like the Corsa's. For me they sound tinny. I am looking for something with a more aggressive idle tone but no drone. Maybe there is no such thing. I have a 72 Chevelle with a Pypes exhaust system and headers and it sounds awesome. No drone. They have an X pipe. Very deep idle note.
I while back I had an 86 Vette and I did the muffler eliminators. They sounded OK and I didn't notice a lot of drone.
The only thing I know for sure is that the stock system is just too quiet.

Fist question is what year ya got. Here is my comparison thread. Right now Im running a Magnaflow 3" LT1 style on my 91 mated to an LS1. There is little drone but some have reported the hangers failing and tearing the muffler.
