Default H72 code. in 1994 LT1 coupe

Well I just bought a 94 coupe LT1 with after market audio sys in it.
I had the awful "SYS" blinking at me all the time. (I hate that).
I did my research here and found all the info on the "dimmer ckt problem".
I was confused to what I had going on because of the differences
between 92-93 and 94, 95,96 codes meaning different things.
I finally decided that the H72 code in Mod 1, was indeed the proverbial
dimmer ckt problem.
I and an audio expert removed the radio (pioneer system) wired in the
resisters and attempted to put the radio back in. Had some difficulty with the wiring as the installer didn't do a good job in the first place when
butting the sys in. Pulled some wires loose, re-soldered them and thats
when the s*&^ hit the fan... LOL Tried starting the car before putting
it all back together, It wouldn't start. we checked fuses and every other
thing we could think before a called (Corvette Generations) Here in
Dade City Florida, he said no problem just wait 20 mins and try it again???
I said what??? He said it was a theft deterrent system event...and it would reset itself after 20 mins. He was right, all is well. No flashing
"sys" light and car runs great... a one hour job turned into all morning.
LOL the audio guy said he would never work on a Corvetter again. ha ha
I told him he learned something now about the "dimming ckt" problem
and the deterrent problem. He shouldn't have any more problems with corvettes now... heheh. Anyway glad its all over with,,,,
