I just thought about going to my campsite in Old Orchard Beach Me when I remembered the road to my site is loaded with speed bumps. They are normal asphalt bumps painted yellow that I'm sure we've all seen. Question ? Can my stock C4 get over them? Will the front air dam scrape or worse the under carriage. This will be my first summer so I don't know. .

If they are the standard type, size and height, take them at an angle, I have even driven my C6 over them with out any scraping problems. If you go at them head on the air dam might scrape.
Just have to learn to drive a low car. My GTI was roughly as low as my c4, maybe lower, and I had to traverse the speed bumps sideways, one tire at a time.
Going slow is the trick to it. Even if the bump is low enough to clear, the suspension travel can bring the body down far enough to hit if you go over too fast. I've often wondered how guys with lowered Vettes get along in the real world of drivewyas, etc...................
