89 Vettes have the 22lb. Multec fuel injectors which are not compatible with todays blended fuels.
The coil insulation will eventually deteriorate from the fuel causing a short in the injectors leading to reduced engine performance, which is why many members replace with the modified Bosch III's Jon Banner (FIC) sells.
I guess before I do an outlay of cash for these first I should do a resistance test on each one , they all still might be ok. Thanks for the advice of the FIC ones.

But, do the test after they're HOT, not cold; very important. (but if they're original, pre 93s, AND you have ethanol, like the man said, they won't handle it. Replace one, replace 'em all, if stock.
Related question: Is there anything wrong with using injector cleaner in your fuel? I think I read somewhere that it's bad idea but I don't remember why.......
I put Bosch III 22# in mine and the BLM's were showing a super lean condition all the time. Ended up putting in the 24# injectors, and the BLM's were in the safe range. Ended up dropping the injector constant in the tune down to around 21.5 to lower the overall BLM's a little bit to keep it running closer to the rich side of the range.
Thanks, GKK.....I knew I read something about it but couldn't remember what. So what do you do when the injectors start to go bad.....just replace them? I hope I'm not hijacking the thread....this is a related question.

When the Multecs go bad, replace with the Bosch III's and you're good to go!...Also, Multecs can not be cleaned or serviced.
