Hi Guy's: After over a 2 year search, I finally purchased a 1987 C4 'vette. My question is: How do I know if I have the Z52 suspension pkg.? I read on a forum that if the steering wheel dead ends after 1- 1 1/4 turns, that it is a Z52. Mine is 1 turn side to side. Also if it is a Z52, I believe that means other options (ie: beefier radiator) ? It seems to have Bilsteins (yellow). If it's Z52, does it need specific Bilsteins? Thanks.....................Dzer
I did and there are a lot of #'s but nothing that specifically states what suspension pkg. is on the car.
Those numbers and letters represent the RPO codes (Regular Production Option) Is "Z52" listed?? If so, then the car has the Z52 Sport Suspension. The codes are listed in numeric then alpha order so Z52 will be pretty close to the end of the list.
Check out the list of the codes as vetteoz provided.
