Default Cover color

I'd go with black also. In addition to looking good it should show dirt or grime as much as a lighter color would if you don't continually clean it.

Black it is. Thanks guys. I do like the contrast better and how it makes the dash and center console appear as one.
Now, anyone got a black armrest for sale? Lol

I would like the vinyl part of the arm rest removed and re-installed correctly on the factory base as my RPO codes are on the base. Anyone know if that can be done?

How does it attach? Does it wrap around the armrest like a cover or does it sit on top?

It wraps around the arm rest. kinda of a pain, but it is very secure! You have to remove it, unscrew the bottom plate, then it comes with 3M tape to help secure it, then replace the bottom plate.

So it sounds like it would be a good fix for the curling up edges of the old one?

It helps. Ive been running the same one since 2006. Very happy with it. It attaches exactly as described above. Only draw back is you cant open the console door more than 60% as the topper hits the passenger seat. However thats really no big deal

Picked my 2-tone up a week ago from Redline goods, it is red leather with black alcantara as is a "slip cover" in that is has elastic and fits over top of my black top lid.

I have a graphite gray console pad that sits on top of the console cover. I forgot to give it to the guy I sold my car to but its brand new and really comfortable. The first thing I bought for my new vette was a console pad. I think they sell new for around $70. I am selling mine for $40. Its much cheaper than a new console cover. Think about it. good luck
